New York City, April 6&7, 2007— Podango.com, a web 2.0 company, announced it is sponsoring Podcamp NYC, held at The New Yorker Hotel on April 6th–7th. Lee Gibbons, Podango CEO, will lead a discussion on advertising, marketing and sponsorship and how podcasters can effectively reach people who want to sponsor shows. Gibbons will speak Saturday, April 7th from 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM. “PodCamp NYC is an exchanging of ideas and I am coming to share with my podcasting peers,” Gibbons said. “Podango is now offering our new platform to all podcasters, not just those interested in creating podcast stations or networks, which allows us to serve more podcasters with the very best user experience for their audiences, while eliminating the headaches of production, management, and monetization that bog most podcasters down.” As a sponsor, Podango will host the Podango Wi-Fi Café located in the Grand Ballroom. It will have two dedicated T-1 lines to support all internet needs. Podango invites all registrants to join them in the café or to visit their sponsor table just outside the ballroom. “We are thrilled to be sponsoring Podcamp NYC and are excited by the “unconference” environment that Podcamp encourages,” said Doug Smith, Podango, President. “It is a great forum to discuss Podango’s mission and share our podcasting solutions.”
