After struggling a bit with the format and packaging of Web Trand News Brief, I have decided to change up its format. My specific objectives with 'The Brief' are:

1. To force myself to learn


2. To share what I learn


3. To make a really consumable information tool that serves people like me who need to get the info and get out

Given these objectives, I have not liked the longer form podcast:

• Stories get jumbled together and hard to consume


• Temptation to take more time, driven by the longer format


• Larger blocks of time required to produce a single show mean fewer shows get produced. (I need to fit this into simpler, smaller chunks, so I can hit them quick and get on to the next thing on my plate)
